San Martino della Battaglia is a small but prestigious area to the south of Lake Garda proud to have been awarded the DOC title (Controlled Denomination of Origin). It boasts 65 hectares of vines and 2 kinds of wines: the white wine “San Martino della Battaglia DOC” produced from tocai friulano grapes (80%) cultivated on rocky hills; and the “San Martino della Battaglia Liquoroso”, a liqueur-like dessert wine of strong character also produced from the tocai friulano grapes.
